After discussions with members regarding an increase in membership fees which is to help cover the cost of our public liability insurance increase, we'd like to get your opinion on our thoughts to simply the AMA membership structure from the current multiple classes (A, B, C, D, E) with varying prices to a two class membership structure of Club and National.

The Club level membership is to permit members to participate in any form of activity, involving any form of motor vehicle or vessell, at the local, regional and state level, anywhere in Australia.

The Club level membership is basically a "meet in the middle" for the current membership sructure. It is an increase in fees for the non competitive memberships, and a decrease in fees for the racing memberships. The main benefit of simplifying all classes to this membership is that you can participate in any form of discipline whether for racing, recreation, testing or practice, anywhere in Australia.

For example, the Club Solo Membership will replace all of the Solo A, B, C, D, & E classes of membership.

The National membership permits members to participate in any form of activity, involving any form of motor vehicle or vessell, at all levels including local, regional, state and national, anywhere in Australia. National level events will be identifed with distinctive names eg. AMA National MX Cup, AMA National Enduro Series, AMA National Sidecar Championship, etc

It is hoped that members might consider providing greater support for the club by taking up the higher 'national' level membership.
